a butoh wedding
The Vancouver International Dance Festival and Kokoro Dance announced the nuptials of Carolyn Chan and Clancy Dennehy and invited you to share in their celebration at A Butoh Wedding on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the CBC Studio 700 in the CBC Studios building on Hamilton and Georgia.
Because the lives of Kokoro, Carolyn and Clancy have woven together for so long, Kokoro Dance was honoured that its annual party/fundraiser became the wedding event where we all celebrated our creative lives with food, drink, and the combined talents of Kokoro Dance and Clancy’s Angels choir performing a unique ceremony of song and dance celebrating the lifelong loving union of Carolyn and Clancy.
Tickets to this event were $100/person ($70 donation tax receipt/per person) which will supported both VIDF/Kokoro Dance and the wedding event. There was a catered mingle-style dinner, live entertainment, a cash bar and a silent auction of trips, goods and services, with proceeds going to the ongoing work of Kokoro Dance and the production of the Vancouver International Dance Festival.
